Betty Crocker ENGLISH TRIFLE
(Modified – From Recipe Card #16) – Betty Crocker International Favorites

- 1 13X9X2 Oblong Baking Dish
Ingredients
- 1 Box Betty Crocker Yellow cake mix
- 1 Package 16 ounces frozen strawberry halves thawed
- 1 4-pack vanilla ready-to-serve pudding
- 1 Container Container Cool Whip
- 1/4 cup toasted slivered almonds *Optional
- 7 whole strawberries *Optional
Instructions
- Bake cake mix in oblong pan, 13 x9x2 inches, as directed on the package.
- Cut the cake into pieces and arrange half in a 2-quart glass serving bowl, cutting pieces to fit.
- Pour half the thawed strawberries over the cake and spread with half the pudding.
- Repeat step 3.
- Cover; chill for at least 8 hours.
- Spread cool whip over trifle.
